All the Panthers games in the playoffs and GF were boring. Close but boring. I know the Eels players seem to like the flushing turd but surely they know by now that there is no GF victory under this pretender and the hope of a GF is surely a strong pull for other clubs to sign the Eels best? The two weaknesses are the janitor and one trick pony. A coach with no game plan and a halfback with zero creativity. More boring and predictable than the Panthers. Not even a top 4 team. |

Cayless went winless but always stuck by the Eels, did the Eels ever stick by him? I really doubt it. It seems all the Eels greats are treated more like an annoyance rather than a person to be celebrated. I think it would be the worst club to be a great at.

Probably had a falling out with someone at the club. People don't leave a perfectly good job, they leave because of other people. Cayless seemed a decent person, so probably the same person who can't deliver an Eels premiership that upset Cayless. |
