I was on the hill. Loved that hill at the SCG.
At least we still won in 86 but wow, what a nail biter. I was so nervous in the last 15 mins.

In the last 15 minutes the Bulldogs decided to play and were coming home strong. They, also like Parra in 84, had an opportunity to level the scores late in the game, but Terry Lamb missed the penalty goal attempt. I thought it was a great GF, even though no tries were scored. |

I have a feeling the young guys in the team will excel. The last time we had a bit of good young talent was in the late 70's and look what happened in the 80's. most of the young guys that have come through the ranks ever since have been garbage. I think these young guys might be good ones. Hey I want to think positive. I hope you're right!! We need a team that put in 100% and want to play for themselves and the fans. A team that takes pride in everything they do. |

with a new home stadium wouldnt you think that they will try there heart out? I dont think they will be world beaters because they just dont have the team.

defense is sometimes something to appreciate. It is not as pretty as good offense, but it sure can be admired if done well.

I think not having Hayne and Norman could be a step in the right direction. Their off field behaviour could not have been good for the team. With all the stupidity gone, maybe Parra can focus on some good footy. |
