Cameron Smith would be the Australian GOAT. The flushing bandit is not even a smart man but he pulls the wool over the eyes of the management. What does that tell you about the front office? Cameron Smith is the best player the past 15 years. He's still playing in grand finals. The front office will keep the janitor regardless of his performance this year. Can't believe he hid behind Guthersons to get signed again. What a loser!!

Cameron Smith is a class player and class act with a superstar coach to play for. If Smith goes to the Titans he will still be great and the Titans will definitely make the playoffs with him there. I however dont think a GF win. The flusher of dunnies is a low class act, he is not bright but he seems to pull the wool over the front office. How stupid are they?

If Cameron Smith walked into the Roosters, Raiders or Bunnies, they'd win a premiership straight away. Under the janitor, he'd get injured or lose good form. This year is going to be a complete waste of time, same story, same result, it's getting boring and all hope went out the door years ago.

same story, worse results. All I ask for is a coach. That seems to much to ask for at the Eels. It seems to be a part of every other clubs focus. No other team would ever dream of signing the flushing skunk.

I'll never make excuses for this flushing failure of dunny bed pans, but Eels since the glory days have never had a Brad Fittler, Andrew Johns or Darren Lockyer player. Some decent teams under Brian "choker" Smith, but he was up against those players I just mentioned. With a champion player, the Eels could still fall short with the janitor? Having the best coach and best player would be any fans dream, which we haven't had since the 80's.

The janitor's son!!
A host of promising youngsters approaching first-grade readiness and some handy off-season recruiting will make a difference to the Eels in 2021, according to halfback Mitch Moses.
While very reluctant to pile too many expectations on the up-and-comers, Moses told NRL.com he'd been impressed by what some of the triallists had added to the squad, including players such as centre Will Penisini, utility back Sean Russell, halfback Jake Arthur and lock Caleb Tohi.
The latter three were all playing against 15- and 16-year-olds just a few months ago on their way to spots in the 2020 Schoolboys Cup team of the tournament (or second team) honours.
"It's a massive step up but they've earned that, they've been really impressive at training," Moses told NRL.com.
"I don't want to put too much pressure on them but they've been very good at training. I'm sure the other senior boys will look after them. [Penisini] has been really impressive.
"They're full of learning and pretty keen to get stuck into it. I'm not sure what Brad [Arthur]'s thought process is going to be there. That's what's up for grabs and whoever impresses will get the job."
None of those up-and-comers are likely to play NRL this year, though Penisini is a chance as the year wears on, but some of the club's newer faces will also strengthen the roster in the shorter term.
Moses welcomed some support for hard-working hooker Reed Mahoney, with Joey Lussick joining from Salford and Nate Roache from the Warriors.
"Taking a bit of workload of Reed will be good," Moses added.
"Since he's come into grade he's been copping a bashing. Credit to him, he's been handling it very well. Reedy's still our number one man and I guess the club's shown faith in him in that way.
"Nate Roache has been very good at training and he's been through a lot of injuries in his career so it's good to see him get those sessions in so hopefully he gets a go this year. He's been through it all."
Roache has had a horror run with back and knee injuries, playing just 15 games in the past four years, but the talented rake drew praise from fellow Warriors recruit and current housemate Isaiah Papali'I, who was powerful in the club's opening trial against the Dragons last Thursday.
"I'm living with Nathaniel Roache which made the move a little bit easier to have other people in the same situation as me," Papali'i said.
"He's been going well, it's just those injuries keep setting him back. As a club I know they're not pushing him too hard to get out there and giving him that time to be ready when he's ready."
Papali'i's own move from the Warriors came about with both club and player happy to part ways.
"At the Warriors we had a mutual agreement it was time to move on then Parra came forward and offered two years," he said.
"I had a talk with BA and Buckets [football manager Mark O'Neill] and Peter Sharp and talked about what I could bring to the team and what they thought I had, assets. We built a good connection straight away and I was pretty happy to end up coming here."

Moses can ramble on as much as he likes but a lot of these great up and comers will be at other clubs before we know it. The Eels talent scouts would be the worst in the game. There hands must tremble when they actually get paid, they suck. Then even the ones that do stay and get to first grade they are in a team that is coachless. There are no more Fittler's, Johns' and Lockyer's in the game but the game is best served with a coach, the Eels need to find one. I realize the players cant criticize the coach, but they must be sick of playing under a flushing dunce.

He couldn't scrub the dunnies of Craig Bellamy. Storm have a champion coach, Eels have a constant failure in the finals who blames the team in the end for his lack of ability. The talent scouts haven't been the same since Noel Cleal, I'm not saying that ugly pig man was talented but the Eels had decent teams when he and Brian "choker" Smith were at the Eels. I think he was there from 1992 to 2004.

I woner how Noel Cleal even ended up at the Eels, he had no history with them? He went back to where he had history at the evil empire. I cant give you a list of great players that were never given a chance at the Eels but I an sure it is long and alarming. Zero ability results in zero success. The talent scouts are of zero ability, where do they find them anyway, at midnight in Parramatta Park near and around the restrooms?

Yep, former hobbo's living in Parramatta Park stagger drunk over to Bankwest and knock on the door and are given contracts. The main reason the Eels don't attract good players is thanks to this flushing failure of toilet rolls - Can't handle hearing him speak. Doesn't even look like a coach.

the flushing staggering dunderhead, sounds so stupid and offers nothing at all. Most of those guys have not been coached by him yet so they are not tainted. They probably do however think he is a nice guy. They must realize that he is a flushing staggering dunderhead?

The flushing dunce of open field dunnies for all the eye can see won't make the finals this year and he'll ruin those young players prospects with his captain obvious speeches at halftime. Dragons must be rubbish cause the janitor isn't a 28-6 score line type of coach. His speech at halftime should be, "let's just wait for them to fold in the second half."

most of those guys that played in that last game have not been tainted by the flushing asshole. They have been coached by a coach. Isnt Luke Burt reserve grade coach?

Based on LinkedIn, Burt was NYC coach 2015-17. Since then he has been on the Gold Coast and was assistant coach and now a partnership manager with the Titans. Another great player that is no longer around.
