I disagree with you on the Knights and Panthers, unlike the Eels they are both well coached.
The janitor is very one dimensional. If the opposition gets on top of the Eels game plan the janitor has absolutely nowhere to go. Being one dimensional is a huge disadvantage going into big games. Once the opposition gets on top there is absolutely nowhere to hide. They are starting to bee found out already, and the playoffs are 6 weeks away.

I'm not worried about the Knights at all, they're to inconsistent. No way will they go on a winning streak and win the comp. Panthers will be tested in the finals. The janitor keeps pointing out the problems with the Eels, but he hasn't improved the problems. Can't play a weakened Broncos team and win 58-0 every week in the finals. The more games you win the harder it becomes. Finals only 6 weeks away!! So I've only got 6 weeks left to enjoy the season.

I agree the Knights are inconsistent, but at the best they are hard to beat. I doubt they will win the competition, but I give the Panthers a chance.
The janitor is actually very good at pointing out the problem when interviewed, but you just dont see any improvement over time with those problems. Enjoy the next 6 weeks the finals will not be joyous in any way. I honestly think the eels have gone backwards in the last 5 weeks. That is the type of guy we have that calls himself a coach and gets paid accordingly.

Roosters and Raiders are not the same teams as last year. Phil Gould saying the Eels are not a premiership threat is basically questioning the janitor in an indirect way. You and I go straight for the jugular with the janitor but the rugby league media that would agree with you and I do this in a more subtle way. The guys on the footy show don't want to come across as offensive and rude, but none of them are rating the Eels.

Phil Gould is a very astute guy. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, so if the coach isnt up to standard let the world hear about it. The grave digger has no idea, he hasnt heard a bad word said about the toilet flusher so he assumes the wise thing to do is to sign him up for longer. If the so called experts expressed there opinions then the grave digger would know that the Eels dont have a coach.
I do agree with you that the Panthers will go further than the Knights. I dont think the Eels would beat the Knights in the playoffs though.

This season which I think is the best start since 1986 (currently 11 wins and 3 losses) is good enough to resign a coach. The fans are happy until the finals and that's all that matters right now. Janitor might win a finals game this year against a weaker opponent, but to be the best you have to beat the best. The grave digger should forget last night, because the Dragons won't be there in the finals, but really focus on this weeks game, that will test the janitor. It all comes down to Thursday nights game. Panthers won again last night. Minor Premiership will either be the Panthers or Storm. Eels losing last night won't finish 1st or even top 2. Have to focus on top 4.

The grave digger isnt even thinking short term quite frankly. He cant see that the eels dont have a coach. Funny how the janitor gets resigned and the team has been going down hill ever since. There offense stinks at present. At best scoring 2 tries doesnt give the opposition much of a score to beat. They are already showing that they will just be making up the numbers in the playoffs. They are far from a premiership chance.

They are far from a premiership chance. That is true. Since being resigned the Eels performance has been riddled with errors and nothing in attack. I guess the janitor got the Eels playing good football until they climbed that mountain - janitor signing a contract. 2 tries against the Dragons over 80 minutes of football is an embarrassment. I said if the Eels didn't beat the Dragons, then don't bother turning up in the finals. Ferguson and Jennings have been ordinary lately and even Moses has been predictable.

They have gotten that bad of present that it seriously wouldnt surprise me if they fail to make the playoffs. I know you think that seems a bit harsh, but they seriously have been lucky to win in the past few weeks. They were just downright pathetic against the Dragons. I hated that game. I guess maybe I am too emotional and if the Eels lose it ruins my weekend. I havent even felt good about the wins the past few weeks either.

They'll make the finals, because the team 9th on the ladder (Wests Tigers) is on 12 points. Eels are on 22 points. I'd say the top 8 is already decided. Eels are 3rd on the ladder and the team 5th (Raiders) are on 18 points. Should make top 4 cause Eels will win a few of their remaining games against weaker opposition.

At present I dont know if they will beat weaker opposition, they seem to be going backwards week after week. The Dragons were weaker opposition and look what happened. Couldnt score more than 2 tries, what a joke.

Couldnt score more than 2 tries, what a joke. Dragons were a complete joke and Mary should be embarrassed by that performance. Basically the Dragons said to their coach, we respect you this week because it's your last game, but all games prior to the Eels, you meant nothing to us. Eels are definitely in a slump, but they have managed wins where in previous years they would have lost. Although, the Eels haven't put in a really decent performance since they belted the Cowboys and that was 7 games ago.

I find there offense dismal. Nothing exciting ever happens with them. Jennings has been so ordinary he hasnt given Sivo any good ball at all of late. The whole back line look like they are just going through the run of the mill motions.
I agree with you that Junior and RCG have been playing well but dont have much support. I would follow guys like them around the park like glue. The opportunities would be numerous but nobody is taking advantage of there good play. It is sad seeing a great team going backwards. I wish the Eels had a wise CEO, he would realize the shortcomings of the janitor.

Even in wet weather football against the Sharks and Dragons, their backline was set deep, when they needed forwards up the middle hitting the line. Using the forwards a lot can be too much one out, but Moses is always deep in attack and then he just kicks to the wings. And Mahoney has not been carving the opposition up the middle lately. It's just been all Junior and RCG. Janitor only has plan A which isn't a good one and no plan B.

You summed it up very well. Moses and Dylan Brown have been pretty ordinary of late. Even though Dylan Brown had a great game against the Sharks. There is no consistency and most of all innovation to scare the opposition. They just seem to be going through the motions. Once again I put that down to the coaching or lack there of. Like you say is plan A doesnt work the team is screwed.
I know I sound like a broken record when it comes to the janitor, I just dont like him as a so called coach, I have nothing against him as a person.
