I wouldnt want Hayne back, in any way. I was just kidding. Good idea have the Bulldogs sign him, and he still gets paid while he is up the river.n That lame asshole team still beat the Eels this season at Bankwest, what a downer that was. It is the fault of the janitor. Losing to the Bulldogs and then the Broncos, two very winnable games, finished Parra's chance of making top 4. You would think top 4 would be enough motivation to beat those two teams. The Janitor couldn't lift the Eels to beat a horrible Bulldogs team, their worst team in years. That game was embarrassing.

Dont forget the game against the Panthers at Bankwest as well. The Panthers were down right terrible, but the Eels were worse. The janitor has no idea of any kind of consistency. Thee top teams do usually have a little down period during the season, the the Eels were a team that you never knew what side would show up. All that is totally on the janitor.

If a coach or in this case a Janitor, can't get his team to beat the easier teams, then you know you have a dud coach. Upsets do happen, even with the best teams, but the Eels lost too many games this year against weaker opposition. If the Eels played the Wests Tigers at Leichhardt, the Tigers spiritual home ground, Eels would have lost. Eels also got smashed against the Sharks at Shark Park. The Janitor did get our hopes up, but once we applied common sense with no emotion, we realised Parra were only making up the numbers in the finals.

The Eels definitely only made up the numbers of the finals. It is a shame because they have a team which is actually close to challenging, but they need a coach. Janitors just dont cut it in the NRL. Janitors are good for cleaning up after the players have done a shit or thrown up, but they just cant cut it in the real world of the NRL. That game at Shark Park was an embarrassment by a team that nearly missed the playoffs, pathetic.

Probably not good enough to even be a Janitor, maybe a towel boy, but for now we'll go with Janitor. Win another spoon and he'll be towel boy. I expect the Eels to beat the weaker teams next year convincingly. No more excuses!! Sack the Janitor!!

I will have to stand up for the janitor and say that he is a very capable janitor, but if they do win another spoon yes he will be towel boy.
I dont expect the Eels to even beat the weaker teams away from Bankwest. I also think at least a couple of the weaker teams will beat them at Bankwest. Now is the time to fire the janitor. That way we get a coach who can establish himself with the team. It would be good to see the Eels have a coach.

It doesn't make any sense!! And the Eels do have plenty of supporters all over the country. In the past, they've played a few games against the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium and appeared to have the bigger support. Always away supporters for Parra. Janitor should be paid 500K, not 1 million - can't win away from home.

lost to 2 lame teams at home as well. Dont you think 500k is was to much for a janitor? All they are good for is to clean up all the mess. That deals with what happens after the event. Janitors have no idea how to plan before an event.

Janitors have no idea how to plan before an event. One million a season is for a top grade coach? Don't Bellamy and Bennett get paid that amount? Or is every coach in the NRL paid around about the same? I've never paid much attention to what the coaches are paid. Surely the Janitor is paid less than the premiership winning coaches. I don't think the Titans coach this year who got sacked would be on the same as the best coaches. The Janitor should be paid on wins only!!

I dont know how much coaches get paid, to be honest. Whatever the janitor is being paid he is laughing all the way to the bank. He is getting paid for something he cant do. How many people get away with that? In the real world nobody gets away with that, only at the Eels.

The Janitor walks away with a fully paid mansion and us fans walk away with no success since 1986. Some people can scam the system.

The funny thing is that I dont think the janitor is really smart and knows how to play the system. I think the Eels administration are stupid. The janitor is only scamming the system because he is dealing with morons. At any well run club he would have been run out of town a long time ago.

If they were good at their job, they would lure a brilliant coach and the place would be rockin every year. Bill Moss should have been given a go, but he was on another level. A much higher level making everyone at Parra look ordinary. That's why he was never given a chance. Every football club needs successful people, people who are good at their job. If Parra are not to careful, they'll end up the Western Suburbs Magpies of the 80's or even worse the Newtown Jets of the 80's.

2 teams that dont exist any longer unless you call reserve grade a major competition? The Eels now have a chance to find a good CEO, since Bernie Gurr is leaving or left? Will they mess it up, on past experience you would have to say that they definitely will. Sterlo, was gunning for Bernie Gurr, and he got his way, but what did he actually do for the club? A big nothing. Gave the janitor another 2 years, which we are now stuck with unless the contract is worthless. Bill Moss may have not been the answer either, but he was worth giving a go. The list of deadbeat CEO's at the Eels is like a whos who of ineptness.

The list of deadbeat CEO's at the Eels is like a whos who of ineptness. Every club except the Storm, but they haven't been around long enough, have experienced a drought. It took the Sharks 50 years and the Rabbitohs 43 years to break their drought, but these are two clubs that no one jumped up and down about. Eels 33 years is unacceptable considering the large fan base, big junior nursery, financially stable and competitive and located in a large area of Sydney. Bill Moss may not have been the answer, but we'll never know. I really wanted to see a die hard fan who was also a very talented businessman, which is probably the future anyway, to be privately owned by wealthy people. Bill may have put in some of his own money or known how to make more money for the club. Instead the club is run by Parra Leagues and a few guys who only know how to play the pokies!!
