The turd was a fraud as a first grade coach. Advancing him from that was a complete no, no. Lomax comes across to the Eels with a better state of mind than the current Eels. Unless Compost can change things dramatically next year will be the same. |

I totally agree with you. Getting Storm assistant coaches has never worked but here we go again. The only reason the turd stayed at the Eels as long as he did was only because of absolute stupidity.

I dont expect the Eels to make the GF in the next 3 years. I think they need to start with a huge cleanout. Lane and Matterson should be the first 2 to go.

I dont think there have been too many good Eels juniors for years now. The late 70's early 80's was exceptional though

The late 70's early 80's was exceptional though The 70s and 80s had a massive boom in population in Sydney's western suburbs even playing a part in the Eels demographics, which resulted in good players and large supporter base. I'm also a product of that environment. |

I lived in Pennant Hills so not really in that western suburbs area. More the Hills area. I really liked the Thornleigh and Normanhurst areas. Very green and leafy and also upper class compared to the western suburbs. |
