Luke Burt should have been used as a halfback, what an awesome strike rate he had. That is an embarrassing array of lousy halfbacks. That would have to be the worst list of halfs in the history of the game? Burt at halfback would have gone better than Stu Galbraith and Tulsen Tollett. After Sterlo was embarrassing. Could Mitchell Moses become the Eels best halfback since Jason Taylor? I don't think he will guide Parra to a Grand Final, but he may contribute.

I think Moses is playing quite well at present, and is staying consistent. That wasnt the case earlier this season but he has improved. How much more improvement he has in him I dont know, hopefully a lot more?

How much more improvement he has in him I dont know, hopefully a lot more? Every time Moses runs to the line, Parra are a better team and that's what halfback's need to do. A lot of pressure on Moses and any other halfback until the Premiership drought is broken. Not something I would like to carry as a player, unless I was an exceptional player.

Moses has been doing a lot more running since about round 10 and it has shown up his game a lot more. I really wanted Moses gone after last year, but since Norman has left he has really gone up a couple notches.

Dylan Brown or Jaeman Salmon. Will Smith has played 5/8 too.

I think Dylan Brown looks to have a huge future, the only problem with him is that after next season he will be on the open market, and the Eels front office will blow negotiations with his manager. I have no faith in the Eels front office in any way.
Jaeman Salmon, looks pretty good as well so maybe he will be the future?

Dylan Brown does have some talent, but can at times have a shocker, but he's still young. Only 19 years old. I hope Parra sign him up for at least another two or three seasons, but like you say, they'll stuff that. Could be Dylan Brown v Jaeman Salmon for the future 5/8 spot.

I would like to see Dylan Brown for years to come, but the front office will screw that up so I would have to say Jaeman Salmon.

where was the offense in the second half? They looked ugly. They did however defend quite well. A really good team would have shown them up. I cant believe how bad the Dragons are. As bad as they are we could only get 12 points, what a joke.

As bad as they are we could only get 12 points, what a joke. That penalty goal late in the game was worth gold!! If the penalty didn't happen, Eels would of needed a field goal for more than a 6 point lead. Parra knew they weren't going to score another try. Two things I found funny right at the end of the game - 1. 79.34 and Parra lose the ball 20 out from their own line. Dragons forwards run in quickly to set a scrum to stop the clock. Somebody needed to tell the Dragons, you're not going to score two tries with 26 seconds left. LOL 2. Not really in the spirit of the game, but with 15 seconds to go, Mitchell Moses makes a tackle and deliberately would not get off the player. Moses gets penalized, but runs down the clock by 10 seconds. Smart play.

I have been quite impressed with Moses of late. I think he has come along well recently. He did struggle for a while in the middle of the season but I am quite happy with him of late.
I just cant believe we only beat that pathetic Dragons team by only 8 points and we are inline to make the playoffs.

That will be the toughest game of the year for Parra and the Titans are running last. There were too many errors against the Dragons. Second half was ordinary. Won't win finals games playing like that.

I almost guarantee that the Eels lose to the Titans. It is an away game. I bet the Titans wish they played the Eels a lot earlier in the year. The Eels have helped a number of teams turn there season around.

If they cannot win at Shark Park or even in Newcastle, no way will they win in another State. Titans 28 Eels 14. Can't wait for that embarrassing game. Have to beat the Knights tonight to make up for that loss next weekend.
