There defense is there biggest problem and look at where they were in the top 8 last year in that? Defence wins premierships and until the Eels fix this they're not a chance in hell.

that will never happen under this current turds watch. Sharks played some great football, especially Matt Moylan, he carved the Eels up but the Eels goal line defence was terrible. Once the Sharks marched downfield it was try time.

the fact that the dogs thrashed the Storm shows a lot about where the Eels are this year. I have a feeling the Eels will be a lot closer to last than first this year. I doubt they will win in the next 3 weeks.

I doubt they will win in the next 3 weeks. Storm without Cameron Smith are no longer a threat and being thrashed by the Bulldogs is their lowest point in a very long time. Eels should have put the Storm away by halftime but lacked attacking options. No one is steering the ship in that backline, just a bunch of overpaid and overrated players. Some are not first grade material.

At present Dylan Brown is probably the worst player on the team. He has literally done nothing in 2 games.
Agree with you on Storm, but they do have a good coach.

Dylan Brown is lazy, signed a new contract and delivered nothing. He can really play some great footy and then goes quiet. Eels must have the most overrated halves in the comp.

Dylan Brown definitely has a lot of talent but is showing none of it so far. I guess when you are on very good money with a new 10 year contract you are set for life so why put in the effort, we are talking the Eels here who have faults in every department.
You know it is really sad that I have to talk about the team that I support this way, but facts are facts. I am a realist.

Last year he performed really good in several games, but he's still not a winner. Moses has more chance of being a gamebreaker.

Have to totally agree with you except 80% of the time one trick is not a go to player either. He had a really good game last game but they still lost in embarrassing style.

Eels attack led by those two doesn't seem dangerous in anyway. Very one-dimensional, boring and predictable. One trick every now and then can lay something on, but he struggles against the top sides. When Brown doesn't step up it puts more pressure on one trick.

One trick never has a good game against the best halves in the NRL. I would honestly say he is only good about 25% of the time against the rest of the halves. Brown had better pick his act up because he sure has been substandard so far this season

Brown had better pick his act up because he sure has been substandard so far this season Gutherson is the most dangerous player always around ready to make a break, there is plenty of urgency in his play. The halves though, are lazy and or one dimensional. A quality half can sniff out a try from anywhere. The Eels 6 and 7 just bash it up like the forwards.

have the Eels signed that one trick pony yet, if not, look elsewhere.
Unfortunately Brown is signed for 10 years and playing like he doesnt care any longer

Maybe the Eels are thinking about a real dud of a halfback. Just like replacing Mahoney with old legs Hodgson.
