it will probably be a Storm, Roosters grand final, they are head and shoulders above everyone else. The only team that had a chance to challenge them is Souths. Completely agree. Maybe Canberra is a dark horse?

I thought this salary cap was supposed to make all the teams even? I dont think it is working at all.
If the Roosters are abiding by the salary cap I am a goose. There is no way?

The Storm cheated the cap and look at the team they had. Still have a great team. Clubs only get caught if they're dobbed in and nobody has ratted on the Roosters, so they can cheat as long as they don't get caught!!

the Eels cheated the cap and look at the team they had, average at best?
Let me send in a letter to the NRL regarding the Roosters, maybe some fool will check them out.

If you're going to cheat, at least win a premiership, not the wooden spoon. I think the Roosters are untouchable. No point.

why have a cap if a couple teams are above the system?

why have a cap if a couple teams are above the system? Every team cheats, it's only the teams that get caught who are labelled as cheats. Another loss by Parra. Did well to lead 10-6 midway through the 2nd half with only 40% possession, but couldn't go on with it. I think at best, Parra will have a 50% win rate this year, just like it stands now - 5 wins, 5 losses.

I still think they will make the playoffs. I dont think they will go far in the playoffs as the forwards are not good enough. I really like Lane and Mahoney, though. They should have quite easily won that game against the cowboys but there defense is soft and make way too many mistakes.

Their defence was solid for most of the game, but the problem has always been putting teams away. Very hard to hang on to a 2-4 point lead. Eventually get run down. Mitchell Moses has been quiet the past few weeks.

I think there defense is very soft. Yes they hung in there but the Cowboys had 3 tries disallowed. Alvaro is way too soft. Moses has done nothing the last couple weeks. I hope we get Dylan Brown back soon.

I hope we get Dylan Brown back soon. I wouldn't say their defence is soft with the exception of the Storm game. It's hard to keep the opposition from scoring, when they keep on getting repeat sets. Parra seem to always be defending. Penalties and line drops outs are crucial in rugby league. If Parra can somehow have at least 60% possession in every game, that will go along way in winning.

I feel the past 2 games the Eels have been soft. They have allowed tries that would not be scored against other teams.

the trouble with Penrith is that they have a good team and will come good sooner or later. The Eels turned the Knights season around, maybe they will do the same with the Panthers?

And the Panthers can be unpredictable. They might play well tomorrow night. But no excuses though, Parra should beat the Panthers, but I got a feeling it will be an ugly win.
