Broncos are looking quite horrible at present. What fools letting Bennett go. He has been by far and away the best coach they have had, and one of the best ever. What a foolish decision, by a club that usually makes smart decisions. I have a feeling the Eels will re-sign BA so they can keep Gutherson and a couple other players. Is that the right decision, time will tell? Wayne Bennett was part of the furniture at the Broncos and they had an unnecessary garage sale. BA might be playing Parra by dangling Gutherson in front of them. Smart man, but poor coach!! LOL

You make a good point. Would Gutherson sign on again if the Eels hired a new coach?

You make a good point. Would Gutherson sign on again if the Eels hired a new coach? BA: I might lose my job, help me out and pretend to like me. Guth: OK, but I want a pay rise with my next contract. BA: No Problem, but I want 10% commission. 6 months later - Police investigation!! Guth made it clear he's waiting on the club's decision on BA, but he could have other reasons??

what is his fixation on BA, I dont get it? The guy coached them to last place, how good could he really be? Say the Eels sign Tim Sheens, will Gutherson move back to Manly?

Guth might see BA as a father figure, but a father who gives bad advice which is the equivalent of winning the spoon. LOL Who knows? But BA is an ordinary coach, his record shows us that. Send both packing to Manly!!

Manly are already really pissing me off this season. They dont have a great team and keep winning.
I wouldnt care if BA went to Manly, but I hope Gutherson doesnt?

Winning with an average team and then winning premierships when you have a good team. Agee!! Guth definitely should stay. BA who cares, he won't deliver a title!! He's had 5 years to prove that.

Way too many errors by Parra. Completion rate 50%. 18-0 Raiders, 15 to go. Parra strong in defence but attack was terrible.

Eels offence totally stunk it up. Ferguson will probably be out for a few weeks as well. Disaster game. They are terrible in Canberra for some reason. I didnt think Canberra were all that good either, just better than the Eels.

If the next game at the new stadium in front of a decent home crowd doesn't get them going, nothing will.

Canberra has become a bit of a bogey ground for the Eels, I think they will do well at the new stadium. I still think they will make the playoffs.

I think they will make it to the playoffs, we have a bet on it. I know they were lousy in Canberra but they are every year. I dont know what it is about playing there? I really thought they would win this time but I was not right at all, it never looked like they had a chance. Always on the back foot and never put any pressure at all on the Raiders. Never looked a chance of winning.

Best they forget the Raiders game and move on to the Tigers.

they should forget about the Raiders game and hopeful it ends up being a small glitch. They can be proud of the way they defended.
