yes I realize nobody has done that since the Broncos, but records are made to be broken. I think the Dragons 11 straight is untouchable. Storm played in 4 Grand Finals in a row, and won 2 (not back to back), but both titles were stripped. I don't think 11 in a row has been achieved in any other major sport. Being a Dragons fan back then must of been awesome.

the Dragons back in the 11 straight era is a different team to the one that exists now. The current team has only won 1 grand final. I guess a lo6 of Dragons supporters still live in the past.
Us Eels supporters sure live in the past. The present and future isnt looking too bright?

Years ago there were dynasty's, today you're lucky to win one. You and I are still waiting for another since 1986. Long time ago.

half a lifetime ago. We are due for one soon? I am only asking for ONE, that isnt too much to ask? Well I don't think they'll win this year. If Parra did have that one champion player like a Thurston, do you think the current team would be good enough to win a premiership?

even with the one chasmpion player I dont think his team would be good enough to win a premiership. I think they would only be good enough to make up the numbers for the playoffs.

Tim Mannah is far from great, but he has been a good workhorse for the Eels. If everyone put in like Tim Mannah for the Eels we would do a lot better.

I agree he is past his best. He was doing quite good coming off the bench when the other teams forwards were getting tied, then dumb ass coach puts him in the starting side and he gets dropped to reserve grade the next week.

The longest serving current Eels player, Tim Mannah made his NRL debut with the Eels in the 2009 season. His entire NRL career has been in the Blue & Gold and Mannah has been captain or co-captain of the team since 2013. Mannah is an inspirational leader who gives his all for the Club on and off the field. He is frequently spotted with the Eels community, Members, fans, corporate partners and guiding the next generation of players. In 2017, Mannah represented Lebanon at the 2017 Rugby League World Cup. He is signed until the end of the 2019 NRL season.

Yes, he is now past it but, he has been a great club player. Always tries his very best even though he may at times not be up to it any longer.

I hope they dont keep him around, he is past it as a player and we need the money to purchase someone better.
