British bands took off big time in the US. They were very good though. And the only AUS band to make it big was AC DC. |

that is pretty true but there have been so many good bands there. In 1986 just before my heavy metal days, I was listening to The Angels and Midnight Oil. I no longer listen to them. That same year my introduction to hard rock / heavy metal was ZZ Top. |

No he wasnt, he was a very quiet but was tall and that would be the only reason you would know he was in the room.

I didn't agree with his politics in 1984 saying Australia should disarm. Great way to be conquered. But at the end of the day America calls the shots and Peter Garrett can say all he wants. |
