Eels hooker Cameron King has announced he has played his last game with the club.
King posted a heartfelt message on Instagram on Thursday night, thanking Parramatta's fans for their support during his time at the club over the past two years.
The 27-year-old former St George Illawarra and North Queensland hooker has played 11 NRL games in each of the past two seasons for Parramatta, bringing his career tally to 43.
King said it had been an honour and a privilege to play for the Eels, thanking coach Brad Arthur for giving "me a chance when my career was at a standstill and for that I'll be forever grateful".
"Wasn't how I saw my time finishing here but unfortunately that's the way it goes sometimes which hurts. Not to sure what the next chapter looks like which is scary/exciting but I'm thankful to have been involved with the Parramatta Eels."
Several injuries have hampered King's career since his Telstra Premiership debut for the Dragons in 2010.
Parramatta experienced a season to forget, finishing with the wooden spoon after starting off with six straight losses.
