for a guy bthat has always been really good, I just dont think he has the greatest of support. Too arrogant for his own good Good players and teams can be arrogant. Look at Manly over the years!! Being good can go to your head. The Seattle Seahawks the year they won the Super Bowl were arrogant. Sherman mouthed off a lot.

wow, you are pretty clued up down under there. Sherman always has a big mouth. And now he is playing for the 49ers. He probably wishes he was back in Seattle. The Seahawk fans really gave it to the 49ers the year they won. I think they even threw food at one of the injured 9er players carted off the field.

I will bet Sherman hates being at the 9ers. He is irrelevant there. I have no idea why he would have signed there?

the 9ers played very well against a very bad Raiders side last night. The QB had a great game. All too late though, no play offs this year.

No Eel deal! Jarryd Hayne forced to ‘move on’ after Parramatta fail to offer him a new contract
IT’S looking more and more likely that Jarryd Hayne won’t be at Parramatta next season.
That’s according to the star utility back himself, who said that it’s unlikely he’ll be offered a new contract and it’s time for him to “move on” and look for another club.
“Parra will always be home to me but at the end of the day I’ve got to move on,” Hayne told Channel 10 on Wednesday. “It’s obviously a business, the way it’s run. It’s just one of them things I’m not going to sit here and kick stones about it.”
Hayne took a massive $700,000 pay cut when he opted to leave his $1.2 million per year contract at the Gold Coast Titans and re-join the Eels for the 2018 season.
But the Eels are reportedly struggling to be able to fit in Hayne under their salary cap at even the cut-rate price of $500,000 a year.
News Limited reported last week that if Newcastle winger Nathan Ross left the Knights for a Super League team then the Novocastrian club could make a play for Eels centre Michael Jennings, freeing up the money needed to keep Hayne in blue and gold for the 2018 season.
However, such a domino chain of events is yet to occur and Hayne is growing frustrated.
“I’ve got to find a job. My contract finished at the start of November and I’ve obviously got to find work,” he told Channel 9.
“I’ve waited over two months now (for Parramatta to offer him a contract). They’ve made it pretty clear that they want me to stay but unfortunately the way that contracts work there are blokes there that they can’t fit in.
“I know they’ve tried their hardest and done everything they can to try and make it work but there’s just no room in the cap and in the squad. I’ve got to be open to all options.
“I stopped getting paid the other day and I’ve got bills to pay.”
The 30-year-old Hayne was clear retirement is not an option.
“I’ve probably got four more years, maybe,” he said.
Hayne is doing all he can to keep fit while he hopes to find a club, training with sprint guru Roger Fabri alongside NSW winger Josh Addo-Carr at Centennial Park in Sydney.
Fabri says he has noticed a change in Hayne during his sprint and conditioning drills.
“He’s getting a little itchy now,” Fabri said. “It’s the first time I’ve ever seen him a little bit itchy. It’s like, ‘Oh, what’s going on?’
“So maybe he’ll come back with that real big eye of the tiger. It might be a gamble worth taking.”

no loss, if he was so big on the Eels he would play for any amount. Lets move on to someone younger.

no loss, if he was so big on the Eels he would play for any amount. Lets move on to someone younger. When Hayne plays he ends up being the only good player. It's like he is a curse!! A great player, but no other player alongside him exceeds?? Something strange there.
