the Eels just dont do much right, and have paid the price for that. Shame that you have to mention the bulldogs and manly, the most dis-likeable 2 clubs that exist. Everyone hates Manly, but they have been the most successful club in the modern era. And they still haven't won a wooden spoon!! Parra have won the second most, behind the Western Suburbs Magpies, a club that no longer exists.

what a proud record for the Eels organization, the CEO's should be so proud of themselves. What a total disaster the Eels have been for 30 plus years. They have the most wooden spoons since the Magpies dont exist any longer.

And the Auckland 9's title was stripped. Can't even get a Mickey Mouse tournament right these days.

lets go easy on the Eels Management for 24 hours, I guess they need a break from reality.

They are so poorly run, I dont think I will see another premiership in my lifetime? I hope I am wrong on that. My 24 hours is over and the Eels management need a reality check again.

What Ray Price said is true, "every club has a drought", but that doesn't make things any better. I realise that even in the NFL there are teams that haven't won in a long time or haven't won at all since the super bowl was introduced in the 1966 season, but in the NRL most teams have won since Parra won their last.

Only Gold Coast and New Zealand are the only teams that have not won in that time. When you think of it that way it really stinks.

Yeah, there was a time when Rabbitohs, Sharks, Cowboys and Tigers hadn't won and Parra did not look that bad. But now it's embarrassing. If Titans win before Parra, our club should fold!! LOL

It is the case of how not to run an NRL club. They could write a bible on the mistakes to running an NRL club and just have everything the Eels do. That Bernie Gurr sucks. The choice of CEO's since Fitzgerald almost makes Fitzgerald not look too bad. That is really saying something.

A Parra legend, but ended up being investigated by the cops. FFS.

Steve Sharp scored the first try at the new Parramatta stadium against the Dragons. His heart was in the right place but like you said had no business sense. It is just incredible the trash that has run the club. No other club has the same problems, why?

It is just incredible the trash that has run the club. No other club has the same problems, why? Other clubs are professional, that's why. Nick Politis from the Roosters is a successful business man and knows how to run a football club. The Broncos haven't won since 2006, but appointing Wayne Bennett as coach since their inception was a champion decision. Manly had Ken Arthuson and the Bulldogs Peter Moore. We've had Paul Osbourne, Steve Sharp and Denis Fitzgerald who could no longer produce results after the 80's.

When you look at who we had it sure looks like a bunch who not to have. Arthurson and Moore were assholes but where great for there particular clubs. Fitzgerald was just an asshole, and the rest were straight up incompetent. I dont know that Gurr is straight up incompetent, but he is not a forward thinker. Just makes safe average decisions that does not move the club in an upward direction. We need someone that will take risks.

Former investment banker and Parramatta board member Bill Moss may of been the right man for the job? We'll never know, because he did not step into that position. A successful businessman and a Parra supporter. He had all the money in the world to run a club. He lived in a 10 million dollar apartment in Circular Quay. He came from Guildford (Parramatta district).
