they really had some lousy teams in the 90's. Most of the players just werent up to first grade standard. I blame Denis Fitzgerald for that. I would bet he was pocketing money that players were supposedly being paid. Those players were worth much. Those teams were terrible. I give them credit though for putting in 100%. Today's players don't give a stuff. |

too much money in professional sports now. NRL players dont get paid much compared to other sports, but still they get paid a lot more than the average person on the street makes, plus they get paid if they put in or not. If the average person on the street doesnt put in at work they get fired.

Sport does have it's place, but the amount of money involved is ridiculous and it's not like these players have reached an incredible achievement like curing cancer or sending man to the moon. |

non of them even invented sliced bread. They dont really do much for the good of man, but sport is fun to watch. Rugby League would have to be the most poorly promoted sport in the world, and with this bulldog guy heading up the NRL I dont think it will be promoted better under him.

Rugby League has been poorly run since Quayle and Arthurson left. Those guys were great administrators. They also played the game. |

bias in any leading position is a bad thing. Manly are just a good team to hate regardless of anything.
