McFadden was such a Mc****up. Should have tried getting another year or 2 out of Taylor. Sandow, was horrendous, dont need say anymore about him.

Michael Witt and I can't even remember the name of the other. I thought M. Witt was going to be a great player, I got that wrong. Tim Smith a bipolar alcoholic. That was embarrassing.

the list can go on with a lot of players at the Eels. One of those Witt brothers went to Manly and did quite well there.

instead of getting a bigger trophy cabinet break all the wooden spoons in half and throw them in the trash.

instead of getting a bigger trophy cabinet break all the wooden spoons in half and throw them in the trash. Most of those spoons are pre 1973. When Parra were the new kids on the block and not very good when compared to the older Sydney clubs. In the 1950's Parra struggled big time. The club finally came of age around the mid 60's, which is the first time they played in the finals.

I still say break those spoons in half and throw them. in the trash. Open up the cabinet for future success, or am I only dreaming?

Need the Doc's time machine from the movie Back to the Future if you want success. Set the time machine for 1986!! I agree, break the spoons!! Or give them to who they belong to. BA owns one of them.

Steven Kearney owns 2 spoons. I am sure he would appreciate them in his empty cabinet.
Unfortunately the DeLorean was destroyed in Back To The Future 3. 1982 would have been a good year to go back to, the win between the bookends.

Stephen Kearney is probably a nice guy, but a terrible coach. At Parra he had no idea and is struggling at the Warriors. Canberra at halftime were winning 30-0 and the game was in New Zealand. Kearney blasted the Warriors at halftime. The DeLorean was destroyed!! Dam!! 1982 was a great year. I'd go back and attend every Parra game including the Grand Final. Parra were that good, we could even be arrogant about it, "ah, don't worry, we'll win this year no problem".

Kearney is probably a nice guy, but wow what a bad coach. He would be right up there with BA as who is the worst.
We have it won this year already, the Grand Final has been moved to Bankwest. Wouldnt that be something and the Eels played like they ndid against the Tigers? I went to a lot of games in 1982, so if I went back to then I might see my young self there.

It would be awesome if what Parra did to the Tigers at Bankwest 51-6, they could also do to the top sides. Eels in Grand Final defeat Storm / Roosters 42-6, 30-0 halftime. But Parra's defence is soft a lot of the time. Imagine going back in time!! SCG 1982 - watch the Grand Final without any stress knowing the result already. At halftime, Parra led 16-3 and tries were 3 points. That game was over at halftime. Manly scored first, but then the Eels backline kicked in and they blew Manly away. 1983 was the same. And I think in Back to the Future, Doc said to Marty, meeting up with yourself from the past had catastrophic consequences.

I wouldnt want to meet my young self. It would be funny seeing my young self as I was such a goofball.
I didnt go to the 82 grand final but I did go to the 81 grand final. If I did however go back to 1982 I would bet on every game. I think you know what I mean. Back in those days I dont think you could legally bet on games but if there is a will there is a way.

I think footy tab did exist back then. I remember reading, the biggest head start ever given was a game, I think in 1982 0r 1983, North Sydney Bears 27.5 against Parra. Eels won the game by only 2 points. Get the Sports Almanac, go back in time and make a fortune.

footy tab would hate me. Each week coming in to collect my huge winnings. What to do with the winning?
