Australia is a gtood place. The flag doesnt really matter. But I do have to say I love the Aboriginal flag. That would be the best flag ever, but would the Aborigines allow use of it?

White man stole their land. Well, that's what many of them say. There are many controversies here with the history of the country. I think the Aborigines wanted to rename Australia day, "Invasion day" and there was that time former PM John Howard refused to give an apology on behalf of Australia to the Aboriginals for the past. But one good thing here, there is no problem when an Indigenous Australian team play the NRL All-Stars, mainly made up of white guys. Imagine taking that concept to America. There would be race riots based on America's past. |

America's past is not a good one when it comes to racism, but it has improved, it isnt perfect and there is a long way to go, but it has improved. from what I remember that John Howard was always an asshole. They could not have an indigenous team of native Americans in any sport here, as there arent many in professional sports.

Australia isn't too bad, but I'm sure it does exist. The Washington Redskins!! Do the native Americans find that weird? A football team named after them. And the Kansas City Chiefs. |

actually a lot of native americans support the Washinton Redskins and arent offended. To be politically correct there are a lot of people that want to get rid of the Redskins in the name. The owners will not budge on the name. The Washington basketball team used to be called the Bullets, but changed the name to be politically correct to the Wizards.

LOL I guess Eels doesn't look or sound as convincing as a Bulldog, Tiger or Shark. But the Eels mascot is symbolic and still should be kept for that reason. Super Bowl tomorrow!! And I guess another ring for Brady. |

I dont think they should ever change the eel, it is symbolic, but other teams do have a better sounding mascot.

I hope like hell they dont make the super bowl next year, that will make 4 in a row, and the only team that has done that is the Buffalo Bills.
