I think the NRL maybe should start thinking of something like the draft? The current setup, players like mercenary Moses would prefer to go to a team that is a chance at winning a title even if they earn a little less money. It seems contract are worth about as much as the piece of paper they are written on. He has a contract that he will run away from at the drop of a hat.

Storm and Roosters are rorting the system while the NRL are not enforcing any rules. Panthers defeat Eels 36-34 Talking points * Decent game except the last 10 minutes. * Is Cleary that good or Eels gave up with a 14-point lead? No urgency in defense when the game was on the line. * Gutho went for goal and wanted extra time. I would have gone for the try. * I liked the referee. Either Panthers had no discipline, or he favored the Eels. * I'm glad tonight was not a major game. |

I dont want to even talk about that game, except I will say one thing. The Eels are a lot better than a wooden spoon candidate.

Nathan Cleary is better than Moses. He is consistently good where Moses is good for NSW and that is it.
