Is the vendor still the coach or what is going on there? The vendor will not be with the club next season which suits me. The vendor was never a coach. Got sacked from Manly and Canterbury. Shows how dumb the Eels were to take him on but the janitor wanted another dud. Glad he won't be around selling hot dogs outside the ground next year. Incoming Parramatta Eels coach Jason Ryles has wasted no time shaking up the club, reportedly moving on caretaker Trent Barrett and offering the No.1 jersey to one of the club’s young stars.
According to a report from the Sydney Morning Herald Ryles, who recently signed a four-year contract with the struggling club beginning next year, will bring a fresh suite of assistant coaches with him when his reign begins, meaning Barrett’s time at the club will come to an end.Good to see changes already being made.

ANOTHER ARTHUR DEPARTS EELS
NRL rookie Matt Arthur will follow his dad, sacked former coach Brad, out the door at Parramatta after being granted permission to leave at the end of the season.
Matt Arthur, 19, will be able to talk to rival clubs with immediate effect on “compassionate grounds” in the wake of his dad’s axing in May.
The young hooker has played three NRL games and was contracted until the end of the 2025 season.
But Parramatta chief executive Jim Sarantinos said the club made the decision to allow Arthur to explore his options given the “unique circumstances”.
“Matt is a great young man and it was wonderful to see him make his NRL debut earlier this year,” Sarantinos said.
“While we would love to see him stay at the Eels, we understand the unique circumstances involved with this request and our decision to grant permission to negotiate with other clubs is based on compassionate grounds.”
The final year on Arthur’s contract will be waived after a conversation between Eels officials and the rising star made it clear his father’s sacking in May, after more than a decade at the club, had taken a toll.
Despite being seen as a star of the future for the Eels after earning representative honours for the NSW under-19 side earlier this year, he won’t be part of new coach Jason Ryles’ plans.
Matt didn’t make his NRL debut until six weeks after Brad was axed by the club, but News Corp is now reporting Newcastle is favourite to land him next season.
Brad, meanwhile, has found a new job in the UK Super League with Leeds Rhinos.

I always rated the vendor as a worse coach than the turd, but to his credit he did get more out of the Eels than the turd. It still wasnt good enough as the worst underachieving team in the past 40 years.
