I wouldnt say no Americans showed up. There were none around me,though. Just about all the Aussies wore team jersey's and I saw an Eels jersey. I would say by far and away the majority of people wore team jersey's.

I'm sure there is a small supporter base in the US cause I saw a website years ago. Watching the game I realised the NRL would be too fast for Americans and of course they wouldn't understand the rules. |
