Sharks and Rabbits have both been better over the past 35 years than the Eels. OK, Rabbits didnt exist for a period in that time span.

1 win is better than a number of appearances!!! About time though, 45 years for Rabbitohs and 50 years for Sharks.

If things dont change anytime soon at the Eels we could be looking at 50 years for the Eels soon as well?

EELS WAITING TO STRIKE
The Parramatta Eels are one of a number of cashed-up NRL clubs watching to see if a decent quality NRL player becomes available once the new season kicks off.
It’s a big year for the Eels on the back of going from a grand final to missing the top eight last year and there’s certainly no questioning the quality of their fullback, halfback, five-eighth or front-rowers.
It was the hooking position and in the backrow where they ran into trouble last year with injuries and suspensions hurting them big time.
This season they’ve added Kelma Tuilagi to the backrow options while Bryce Cartwright has reportedly been impressive during pre-season and put some weight on.
The other intriguing battle will be who wins the starting no.13 jumper with J’maine Hopgood having an outstanding start to last season while Ryan Matterson is also still in the mix.

If things dont change anytime soon at the Eels we could be looking at 50 years for the Eels soon as well? All it takes is the games best player which you build a team around. Panthers have Cleary. In the past, Cameron Smith, Darren Lockyer, Brad Fittler and Andrew Johns. The problem at the Eels is the front office can't sign the best and the talent scouts can't find the best in the lower grades.

The talent scouts at the Eels stink to high heaven. They are a huge waste of money, but there is a lot more that money is wasted on in this club. Club officials and coach in no particular order would be the biggest waste of money.

Club officials and coach in no particular order would be the biggest waste of money. Surely the Eels district would have many juniors but haven't produced quality in decades. Either, there is no talent or the scouts can't find talent so it goes to waste.

I think a lot of the good Eels junior talent goes elsewhere, because the talent scouts have no talent.
