I really hope they dont make the 8 because that will be the end of the turd. They definitely do have a good enough team to make the 8.

KY RODWELL — Parramatta Eels
(Five NRL games)
Ky Rodwell is coming off his best season to date and is knocking on the door of a regular NRL spot. The 24-year-old prop had an enormous 2023, averaging 147 running metres and 34 tackles a game for the Eels’ NSW Cup side, while also working on developing his ball-playing skills. Rodwell made his NRL debut in 2021 and got four more games in 2022 but didn’t get any opportunities in first grade last season. He was rewarded for his efforts in Cup though with the Coaches Award. With now 74 reserve grade games under his belt, Rodwell is primed for the next step.

ZAC CINI — Parramatta Eels
(Four NRL games)
Remember the Wests Tigers player with the blonde mullet that shone on debut and became an overnight cult hero in 2021? Well Zac Cini has been busying plying his trade in NSW Cup ever since his rookie year and is ready to be unleashed again. Cini finished the 2021 season with four NRL games but the Tigers opted not to re-sign him. He joined the Eels on a train-and-trial in 2022 and became a key member of the club’s NSW Cup side. His efforts in reserve grade were rewarded with a two-year deal which moved him into the Top 30 for 2024 and will no heat up competition among the outside backs. Cini was a raw fullback that based his game on effort back when first started playing Cup in 2021, now he is one of the most consistent centres at that level. The 23-year-old scored 11 tries in 20 games last season and averaged 5 tackle busts and 131 running metres per game.

I dont think they are always a good offensive team, they do have good days and bad days. They are pretty much always very poor at defense though. There is only 1 person to blame for that. Do I need to say anymore?

Do I need to say anymore? The defence is better in the middle thanks to a strong forward pack, but out wide the centres and wingers get caught out.

I still say if the Eels had a decent coach they would have won at least 1 GF in the past 11 years, and overall they would not struggle with defense, like they have forever under the turd.

A coaches job is to make the players better unless they are a clutch player superstar. The janitor can't improve this team enough to beat the heavy weights in the competition. The players are under no guidance whatsoever. I agree, a decent coach and they make a grand final and win even with a tough finals draw.

this current asshole will achieve absolutely nothing in this game and once he is gone will be quickly forgotten. He is a nothing with no hope of any success in this game. Just festers in the bottom of a toilet and stinks to high heaven.

Eels club accept the same obvious result every year and don't even bother to look for that addition that will make the difference.
