It is incomprehensible why they would swap a forward for a winger when they already have a forward shortage. It astounds me the pathetickness of the dumbass Eels. I would go with a new coach and a 5 year plan at the moment. Under this current asshole turd it is an open ended no chance plan. A lot of people on social media are questioning this latest news on the Eels. Swap Matterson for Ado-Carr. If that happens I hope Ado-Carr scores a record of tries next season. |

I think it is pure madness. Matterson is a good player and we have a shortage of good forwards, but have plenty of wingers. The logic is not logical?

Why would the Eels even bother when no matter who they sign, they'll lose games. Need to fix the defence first before signing players and if that means sacking the coach then so be it. Eels are a joke and many NRL supporters are laughing. |

Eels are definitely one of the most laughable teams in the NRL. My latest prediction is the Dolphins will win a title before the Eels win again. Dolphins will either be like Broncos, Raiders and Knights, win premierships not longer after inception or Warriors and Tirans, not at all. |

I think the Dolphins will win one in the next 5 years and I think the Eels are much further off than that.

Knights sign exciting young talent
The Knights have poached one of Parramatta's best young talents in hooker Jacob Davis.
Davis, 20, started last season in the Flegg Cup but within several months was playing against grown men in the NSW Cup and holding his own.

The youngster has signed a one-year development contract but it wouldn't surprise to see him in the Knights' top 30 12 months from now.
The Eels were keen to retain Davis but have several up-and-coming hookers in their ranks and knew they would have to let at least one go elsewhere in search of opportunity and when Newcastle approached Davis, they didn't stand in his way.

Hate to say it, but Eels will never win. Or maybe Eels will be like Rabbitohs and Sharks, drought comes to an end after 45-50 years. Or worse, Bears drought, premiers 21-22 but never won again. |

The current configuration as it is now is a total disaster, there is nothing right anywhere in the club. They will win again but there have to be massive changes.
