I think the last time hey both played each other in the finals was 2009 at the Olympic Stadium with almost a full house. That would have been great being at that game. 74,000 in attendance for that game. Definitely a classic between the Dogs and Eels. It's a great feeling when you're team makes the grand final.

Depending on the coach the dogs get they may start to rise next season, but the Eels will go the opposite direction unfortunately.

Five-eighth: Jarome Luai
Possible replacements: Mitch Moses
The obsession with combinations in rep football is well known, and Luai has long been the perfect foil for Nathan Cleary - but it was clear last night how much difference having multiple kicking options can be.
While Cleary was hammered all night, and swarmed late in the tackle count to the point that he struggled to find his range, Queensland had Ben Hunt, Daly Cherry-Evans and Cameron Munster all capable of flipping the field.
I wouldnt go with Moses, he does not stand up in big games.

Eels should beat the Dogs on Monday, but next year could be a close contest. Can't believe Eels have let go of a few players. Mahoney will be a big loss and replaced by an ageing injured player. A grand finalist though!!
