One more thing since the Eels are short on players in the backs why dont they sign Ferguson for the remainder of the season? Seems logical to me.

Obviously don't have the right people at the club. Management that know what it takes to succeed on the field. Club I guess is doing OK financially but can't attract champion players and coaches. They might be the right people for running a club off the field but us fans don't care about that very much unless the club is about to fold. |

I think that's a good idea instead of the spare money just sitting there. Sign another Bryce Cartwright type of player. Not a main player, but a player that can add to the team. |

The elite players know the very very shortcomings of the flushing turd, if you and me know it then any player with half a brain knows it as well.
The Eels could sign Ferguson for chicken feed because no other team wants him. He still has talent even though he is past his best. I would classify him as a Bryce Cartwright type signing.
