I dont think the Eels defense has improved at all. The dogs had nothing to throw at them, and the Titans were on the Eels line once in the game and scored a try. If they fire the janitor they need to fire Kidwell as well. Why dont the front office see the problem? Eels defence under Brian "choker" Smith was rock solid. Best defence in the league, but struggled to score points at times and choked in the finals. The janitor has more options in attack, especially in the halves, but fails in the end worse than choker Smith. Doesn't even get to the grand final. |

The Eels defense still sucks. It has never gotten better. That would be partially the fault of Kidwell who is defense coach, but the janitor is just as much to blame for keeping ineptness around him. It is hard to see a great team on paper not perform to its absolute best. Choker Smith could get the best out of a team except in the playoffs.

Kidwell wasn't a great player and many times his ball handling was terrible during the Brian "choker" Smith days. An average centre. The janitor will not succeed in the finals. Why can't the Eels sign a decent coach? Once decent coach in the past 30 years who choked every year. |

JT isnt that great of a coach, but even though I will never be able to prove it, I think this current team would win a GF under him. All the Eels need is someone with slight coaching ability. They definitely dont have that at present.

In Taylor's first year in charge at Norths, he guided the club to a third placed finish at the end of the 2019 Canterbury Cup NSW regular season as they qualified for the finals for the first time since 2017.
North Sydney would go on to be eliminated from the 2019 Canterbury Cup NSW finals series as they lost both matches against South Sydney and Newtown.Not setting the world on fire after being sacked by the Wests Tigers. Not even an NRL coach anymore. |

didnt he get Fired by the Rabbits as well? Also didnt one of the Rabbits players punch him in the head?
Even after all of that I think he is a better coach than the janitor. My opinion of the toilet cleaner is low, low, low.

He can't be a good coach if he's been booted from three NRL clubs, but like you say, he's probably better than the janitor. JT ended up back at the Bears, a club that never could win a premiership after 1922 and were eventually kicked out of the NRL. |

the only reason why the janitor has not been fired is because he is linked to the Eels. He would have been fired by 15 other clubs a long time ago.
I dont think JT is a great coach by any stretch, I just think he would be more successful than the lame toilet bowl cleaner we have.
