no didnt burn down the grandstand, it wasnt up to scratch anyway

it really was a lousy ground, more for cricket than football and a very small viewing area for the spectators. It was worse than Lidcombe Oval (home of Wests Magpies)if you ever went there?

Never attended a game at Lidcombe. I think the last year the Magpies played there was 1986. Although, you can see the entire ground from the train when going past Lidcombe-Auburn. It's just one hill that goes right around with a very small grandstand. |

pretty ordinary ground isnt it? Hard to believe that hey played a major sport there. Cumberland was worse believe it or not.

if that is a photo of the last game against Manly I was between the bottom goalposts and the grandstand
