I really hope for a good year, glad that Norman is finally gone. He was a choker in big games. Norman was a massive disappointment. You're right, he gave nothing in the games that mattered. Went completely missing. I would say the most overrated player in the game. |

I would have to agree with you. He had such huge wraps on him when he started at the Broncos, but never lived up to them.

I think Norman has the ability, not the fortitude. He doesnt put in when the going gets tough. Good to be rid of him.

I also couldn't handle his kicking game. You're supposed to kick in-between the winger and fullback, not straight to the opposition player. |

after getting rid of him, maybe we can get Semi back? Great player, but a bit embarrassing the Eels had to rely so much on a winger to produce tries all the time. When the halves fail, just throw the ball out to Semi. |

I don't think you can win a premiership with a winger leading the way. And as for Moses, another Daniel Mortimer - one good year and that's about it. I hope I'm wrong. If he doesn't do well in 2019, he should be punted. |

I just watched on YouTube, Detroit Lions, Bobby Layne said in 1958 after being traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers after his injury, that the Lions wouldn't win in the next 50 years. Now that's a long curse for any team. |

who know the Eels may have another 24 years to go on our curse. The Boston Red Sox curse of the bambino lasted nearly 100 years and the Chicago Cubs curse of the goat lasted for over 100 years.

Wow, 100 years!! How many fans during that time died and never saw a title. That's insane!! For Parra it's been 32 years and that's like two lifetimes ago. |

In all honesty, it doesnt look like the Eels are anywhere near the chance of a title, and dont really look to well managed or coached. I think they are years off anything good happening. I hope I am wrong about that.

I hope I am wrong about that. I agree. No major signings and the current team is light years behind this years Roosters and Storm. I haven't come across any new pictures of the stadium. Must be a lot closer to completion? |
