would you re-sign BA or not? I would have to see what other coaches are available, before I could decide on that. I dont think highly of BA even though I have to say the Eels are looking very good so far.

I dont think highly of BA even though I have to say the Eels are looking very good so far. If Parra perform really good this year, I would keep him on, but I definitely wouldn't sign him for a period of 3 or more years. Maybe a 2 year contract, but with a built in clause that states if you don't make the 8 you're gone.

I agree if they re-sign BA I would definitely do 2 years max. If they re-sign him I bet they will do 3 to 5 years;

including me. I could not stand him around at the the Eels any longer. He had become stale and lacking in ideas. Another brainwave by the great emperor of Parramatta, that asshole Denis Fitzgerald.

Only Jack Gibson should be given 5 year contracts.

yes give Jack Gibson a 5 year contract starting next season from the grave, he would probably still be the best coach ever.

BA can't coach better than a dead man. We'll give BA one more chance. If he blows it this year, he should be shown the door.

I think BA is doing a good job so far this season but I honestly think we should be looking elsewhere. Maybe look at a few coaches in Super League. Maybe look into signing Israel Falou as well, since he got fired from rugby.

I doubt it. Didn't Parra try and sign Israel a few years ago? Before he went to Union. How old is he? I don't won't another Carl Webb signing.

Carl Webb signing of the century. Israel is still a great player in union and is proven in league. I would risk it with him.
Tim Sheens is still doing well in England, I wouldnt mind giving him a go back in the NRL?

You never got the best years!! Tim Sheens was a great coach. Took the Panthers to finals footy in 1985 (Panthers first year playing finals footy) and won premierships with the Raiders and Wests Tigers.

Israel may have another 4 to 5 years left him him, but I get your point.
I dont know if Tim Sheens is as good as he used to be, but, he does know how to win a premiership. I think that counts for something.

I think that counts for something. Wouldn't Israel demand big money forcing other players to leave? I wouldn't upset what we have right now, especially for a player heading towards retirement. Don't know what to think about Tim Sheens?? I'm predicting BA will keep his job next year, because it appears Parra are putting in a decent effort this year, but next year the wooden spoon will come again once the determination is gone. I hope I'm wrong.

BRING GUTHO HOME
MANLY godfather Ken Arthurson wants his old club to sign Parramatta Eels skipper Clint Gutherson to return home to the northern peninsula in 2020.
Arthurson even phoned Sea Eagles coach Des Hasler last week to encourage him to chase the talented utility back. Hasler has an enormous amount of respect for Arthurson.
Gutherson is off contract after this season and the Eels are refusing to budge on a $500,000-a-year offer. He will make a decision in the near future.
