come on an IQ of 55 is a bit generous. For lack of an argument I will go along with that. Many years ago rugby league supporters were not deranged like dog supporters.

Wow, those dogs have a lot of well known personalities supporting them. WHY? Prime Minister Keating and the Waugh brothers were from the area. I think Harry Kewell grew up in Smithfield which is close to Fairfield. What about Manly's supporters - Tony Abbott, 28th Prime Minister of Australia Jim Anderson, Australian politician Allen Aylett, Australian rules football player and administrator Mike Baird, 44th Premier of New South Wales Layne Beachley, World Surfing Champion Gladys Berejiklian, 45th Premier of New South Wales Billy Birmingham, comedian Sean Fagan, Muay Thai fighter Melinda Gainsford-Taylor, World Champion and Olympic athlete. Grant Goldman, radio personality Mike Goldman, radio and television personality Wendy Harmer, author, children's writer, playwright and dramatist, radio show host, comedian and television personality Brooke Hanson, Olympic and World Champion swimmer Jean Hay, Australian politician Hugh Jackman, actor Jim Jefferies, comedian Thomas Keneally, author Barton Lynch, surfer Doug Mulray, comedian and radio and television personality Sarah Murdoch, model Peter Phelps, actor Mark Skaife, racing driver, multiple Bathurst 1000 winner Michael Slater, cricketer Tracey Spicer, television personality Miles Stewart, triathlete Gary Sweet, actor Keith Urban, musician and singer

people tend to support a winner and the Evil beachbums have a very good record over the years, but how many of them actually go to games? The evils supporters dont travel.

Don't think Brookvale Oval would even have Corporate Boxes for the VIP's. lol I was there in 1993 when they officially opened the Ken Arthurson stand. Think it was Broncos v Sea Eagles. Had a friend I new from school who supported Manly.

Brookvale oval is a 19th century dinosaur. I am amazed that a game of this century still bothers with such appalling shit grounds

Brookvale oval is a 19th century dinosaur. I am amazed that a game of this century still bothers with such appalling shit grounds NRL is still suburban. AFL teams have moved from suburban grounds to the Melbourne Cricket Ground and also expanded interstate. NRL failed at expansion!! Adelaide and Perth could attract big crowds, but instead Roosters, Panthers, Sea Eagles and Sharks play park football.

as much as I struggle with Eels management the NRL is pretty poorly run as well. For such a great product it never goes anywhere.

as much as I struggle with Eels management the NRL is pretty poorly run as well. For such a great product it never goes anywhere. Played a State of Origing game in America in 1987. LOL Poor crowd though. The NRL is only played on the East coast of Australia, Adelaide and Perth was a failure. If you compare merged clubs and defunct clubs in the NRL there's heaps. AFL only had 1 merger, 1 relocation and 1 defunct club.

The really stupid thing was that Test match between England and NZ here in Denver, but no follow up. What was the point? If any Americans went and enjoyed it, they would have forgotten all about it by now. Rugby League world wide is clueless on how to promote the game. I dont think Perth was a failure except in the mind of the NRL who is clueless. Perth had pretty good crowds.

Americans can view YouTube and also live stream, but actually visiting a live game is a better promotion. NRL only bothered with being the first sport to commence again after the virus which had the world watching until their sports started back up.

I dont think anybody wants to follow a sport on YouTube? I wouldnt. It is all dependent on what people put on the site.
