I didnt know the AFL GF was held in Brisbane but then again I dont care. Dont even care to know who won. Only once and I don't know who won? Don't follow AFL, only know a few AFL facts and statistics. The Swans moved from South Melbourne to Sydney in 1982. AFL clubs also have premiership droughts, Melbourne Demons just ended a 57 year drought.

wow that is longer than the Eels drought. When did they win? We might still be waiting longer than 57 years?

wow that is longer than the Eels drought. When did they win? We might still be waiting longer than 57 years? Melbourne Demons won the AFL this year, first time since 1964. Sydney Swans had to wait more than 70 years, 1933-2005. Eels might not win again in our time? I started following them in 1979 and all of a sudden 4 premierships over the next 7 years, but nothing since. Great start to my career as a fan, but haven't seen them win as an adult, not even as a teenager.

It isnt all bad, at least you got to see them win 4 I have seen the Bills lose 4 SB in a row and they have not gone back since. The Bills may do it early next year. Unfortunately the Eels are no chance, next year. Get a coach and you have some chance. Seriously if they get Flanagan as an assistant they do have a chance.

Yes, I was very fortunate to experience 4 premierships, but I foolishly thought success would continue. Can't believe I tipped the Eels to go back to back in 1987. Sack the janitor and sign Flanagan. Has everyone won a premiership except anyone only involved in the Eels the past three decades?

Thank you emperor for the start of the decline of the Eels. Even after they got rid of him it has been a comedy of errors.

Thank you emperor for the start of the decline of the Eels. Even after they got rid of him it has been a comedy of errors. Emperor failed to build a team around a still decent Kenny and Sterlo after Price and Cronin retired. Bulldogs managed too with Terry Lamb late in his career. Bob Lindner was a dud signing although an Origin player and the next crop of young Eels players were average at best. We've gone on enough about Scott Mahon.

Emperor didnt care about the football team only his pockets. When are we going to get someone with football and business knowledge. Can that ever be achieved it that part of the world?

All clubs have droughts but with what the Eels have to offer this shouldn't be happening. Haven't been able to replace Price and Cronin, that simple. It's been 35 years since their retirement.

How come you dont hear anything about the people that run the Eels and the flushing maniac. Are most Eels supporters used to accepting mediocrity?

We need a George Costanza from Seinfeld when he got the Yankees job, “We Have Watched You Take Our Beloved Yankees And Reduce Them To A Laughing Stock!” He was then hired!! I would say that to the grave digger.

We have a George Costanza, the grave digger probably has a secret bed under his desk like George. Has probably never watched a game of Rugby League either as he is probably a curling man.

Trust the Eels to sign someone with no league background. Who again is in control of signing players? Can't remember the nickname we gave.

to you and me that would be the grim reaper, a failed tiger who is now a failed eel as well. That would probably be the fool that suggested they keep the flushing loser on for longer.

Oh yeah, the Reaper!! I'd forgotten his name cause we haven't spoken about the Eels recruitment in awhile and I see nothing has changed. Still dud signings. You watch the Reaper sign Willie Tonga a third time and the club boasting about it. Bring Wille out of retirement.
