Waqa looked the best I have seen him at the Eels. Maybe I was too quick to have him dropped before Fergo? Like you said it was only the Knights who were down right pathetic. How the hell did they beat the evil ones last week. The flushing soft underbelly has never been able to get a solid defense, like you say especially out wide. Manly produced a great effort against the Eels because of Bob Fulton. Maybe Bozo needs to die every week for Manly to be consistent? Eagles even fooled me, but losing to the Knights showed they're not the real deal. Need at least another 3 good players to be contenders.

I thought the Eels looked pretty good against very poor opposition last game and this week it will be tougher. The Tigers have improved a lot on early form. It could be a good game.
I just want to see the evils get the dam wooden spoon.

I just want to see the evils get the dam wooden spoon. Eels last week played good because they knew they would beat the Knights. Eels don't even bother showing up against the better teams. Against the Bunnies the game was over by halftime, but if the Eels put in a decent effort, it could have come down to the last 20 minutes. Although, against the better teams you need a game plan which the flusher doesn't have. Bulldogs will win the spoon, they are truly pathetic.

If the Eels actually did go into a game against a top side with a very good game plan the fact is that they would struggle the final 20 minutes because they are not an 80 minute team. You are right though, the flushing soft underbelly is exactly that and it shows in the team.
Since the evils will not win the spoon the dogs are a good second choice.

Eels should win this weekend, Wests Tigers halves aren't the best and they don't have any stand-out players, really should be a demolition job, but the Eels team based on the janitors no game plan might show up. I think the Eels will win cause they know they can win, against the better sides they realise they're just bluffing and therefore don't put in a committed performance. Eels by at least 14. Although, Wests Tigers might throw the ball around creating second phase play, throw caution to the wind which is a dangerous Wests Tigers team. Dogs are a joke, must be terrible being a Bulldogs fan.

I am not as confident as you, I would have been earlier in the season but the Tigers have improved a lot. I think Eels by 8.

If Eels win they'll only be 2 points behind the Panthers on the ladder, but the Panthers are only losing because they have missing Origin players. They were rested against the Sharks. The ladder is starting to make the janitor look good but he's a flop. Eels v Panthers soon, which we'll be embarrassing.

Coming 3rd last year made the flushing flop look good but didnt do anything in the playoffs, once again. This year will be the same. The playoffs show the men from the boys and the Eels are led by a flushing boy.

Eels out wide will be exposed in the finals, the janitor has sacked Ferguson for a few weeks, that's been his response to the top sides beating the Eels that way, but Waqa Blake in the centres can be found out as well in defence. Janitor has a lot of improvement needed.

Waqa is very questionable in defense. The past 2 weeks his offense has improved against weak opposition though. I dont know if you saw Fergo kiss Mahoney but it was not a good look. He will have to get another week in reserve grade for that.

I probably did but can't remember. Waqa Blake has the Inglis and Folau build, tall, strong and fast, but can he make breaks, score tries and palm off defenders like those two?

It was during the game. Fergo and Mahoney were sitting together in the players area and Fergo saw he was on TV so gave Mahoney a kiss. It was not a good look.
I wish he could like those 2 but is nowhere near the class of those 2 and his defense is quite pathetic.

Comes in too many times. Waqa Blake can be heart attack material, shades of Scott Mahon, do something great and then stuff up.

Fergos day in the sun may be over, I guess we will see. I think he still has something left to give but he is under a coach that cant coach and that maybe the biggest problem.
The past 2 weeks Waqa has looked better than I have ever seen him, unfortuneately it has been against weak opposition. The test will be the Panthers his old club. Lets see if he stands up then?

I think Fergo is gone. He's not playing his best anymore and the Eels have a few up and coming young players. Dunster is playing some good football. Waqa Blake can easily handle weak opposition, but against the Panthers they might try and run around him, create an overlap. Eels will need to be solid in defence against the Panthers.
