not in the foreseeable future anyway. We have a dud coach at present, and with all the coaching merry go round, is there a good coach available for 2020? Good coaches seem to be rare these days. Even Wayne Bennett is past his best. I just hope we don't see another Stephen Kearney and Ricky Stuart. That was a disgrace!!

or Micheal Hagan, what a lousy coach he was. I thought Daniel Anderson was a good coach, maybe get him back?

Anderson should have never been FIRED a year after making the Grand Final. The eels always seem to do stupid things, with no rhyme or reason.

I dont know if Anderson still wants to coach but I would personally get rid of BA and put Anderson in. I think he is a more than capable coach.

Based on Wikipedia - In 2016, Anderson along with four other board members were de-registered by The NRL and had their contracts terminated by Parramatta in the wake of the club's salary cap scandal. It was alleged that Anderson along with the other board members which the media dubbed "The gang of five" had been aware of or made payments to players outside of the game's rules. If found guilty of this, Anderson could face a maximum sentence of 10 years in jail for fraud. Might end up in Parramatta jail? He could coach from there!!

Ray Price used to always put his 2 cents in about Fitzgerald and company, how lousy they were. I wonder what he would be like as a ooach. He sure was a great player and is very opinionated.

Don't like his chances as it seems the best coaches in the game weren't the best players, with the exception of maybe Bob Fulton and Clive Churchill. I don't remember hearing, Bellamy, Gibson, Bennett etc were great players. Even Brian Smith wasn't a highly recognised player in his time. I guess your either a talented player on the field or a great mind off the field.

I dont like his chances either, plus the fact that he isnt even trying to be coach wipes him out of contention. One more great player who is a great coach is Mal Meninga.

Great player in his day. Unfortunately, we'll never know whether Sterlo would of made a great coach. Sterlo had a great football mind in his playing days and maybe could of used that to coach as well? Although, his commitment to television was to good to turn away from and why would he enter into a coaching job that could see him punted if not successful. I don't blame him for not coaching.

I dont blame Sterlo at all. Coaching is high pressure week in week out, commentary has no down side to it, plus the money is probably really good.
